Your advert, article or letter
Chatterbox is dependent for its content on submissions received and we like to have all your entries. However, please try to remember our press dates, so that we can gather as much material as possible without having to issue reminders.
All our reporting is carried out on a voluntary basis, so we need as many reporters as possible. If you would like to help by collecting material from your organisation or area, we would be very pleased to hear from you. Please contact the Editor.
Press date is the 14th of the month preceding the date of publication. Publication is in March, June, September and December and the target publication date is the first Monday of the month. We will always do our best to include your item, but regret that we cannot guarantee to include any material received after the press date, or any layout work remaining unfinalised at the press date.
Please submit all articles, letters, etc. to the Story Editor - stories@chatterboxnews.co.uk
Email is the most preferred method, but alternatively you can mail your item to The Editor, Chatterbox, 'Duthac' 7 High Street, Avoch IV9 8PT If you can, please submit paper-based material in type-written form on white paper, as this gives us less work - any hand-written material has to be typed up. But don't let this put you off from sending in your item! We'd rather have it in any form than not have it at all!
Adverts If you wish to advertise, we are happy to provide layout work for you. We just ask you to ensure that enough time is allowed for your approval of the layout so that the advert can be fully agreed by the press date. Please see our "Advertising" page for details of advert sizes and charge rates.
Please submit all adverts in the first instance to our Advertising Manager, Linda Bailey - advertise@chatterboxnews.co.uk If layout artwork is required for your ad., she will refer details on to the Editor, who will then submit the artwork to you for approval.
If you would like to submit a story to Chatterbox, but feel that you want advice on how to do it, our COPY WRITING GUIDE should help to ensure that it is acceptable for publication. | ||
